Welcome to Live and Loud, where I bring you along on my auditory and visual journeys as a local musician entrenched in the South Florida heavy rock and metal music scene. Everything penned here reflects my unabashed, personal opinions—whether it’s about friends, fellow bandmates, or local acts we all know. Remember, these reflections are rooted in my personal tastes and experiences. Ultimately, we all contribute uniquely to our scene. Consider this blog my personal sounding board, offering you a window into the life of someone who plays and interacts within our dankass local scene.

We setup the merch and we’ve already made fans in the process. This time we had Chris which is awesome. So we had drums. So it was all strings and drums. Everything went smooth for the most part. Had a hilarious moment of the sound guy not micing the mesa cab I was using. By this time and yesterday I am officially headless. So it makes my setup and breakdown 10x faster. We went on, and we sound checked and it was all good.

Vocals were low on the first 2 songs but after that we were killing it. At a point one of the owners of the house was dressed as a clown and went behind us and rocked out. So awesome. Had another funny moment where my hood flew off exposing my face which is not good. I laughed it off and put it back on.

Overall once we were done, it was good. We had a blast. All the bands were cool chronic combustion, killed by Florida, and many more. There was awesome midget wrestling too which made it more fun. It’s a good time. Sorry for the lack of pictures. I didn’t take NEARLY as many as I should have. OOPS!
